A four-way manual locking system is provided to allow the owner flexibility with the pet's movements. The IN ONLY position will allow your pet entry, but will prevent the pet from leaving. The OUT ONLY position will allow your pet to leave the house, but prevent your pet from reentry. The LOCKED position will prevent entry or exit by your pet, or any other animals. The IN AND OUT position will allow both entry and exit for your pet with the magnetic tag.
